Becca, a trained community organizer, found herself focused more on managing her grassroots organization in Chicago than on the community itself. She has since aided many progressive groups and leaders in being effective through smart strategies. Becca co-founded The Management Center, a key resource for managing social change organizations. As Vice President at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, she was nicknamed “Slayer of Chaos” for handling daily operations in the political and communications division and leading strategic planning. Since 2017, Becca has run her own consulting practice, helping leaders and organizations tackle strategic challenges, pursue transformation, and promote equity and justice.

Becca Epstein, founder of R. Epstein Consulting, developed the Strategy House to address the need for affordable strategy resources and user-friendly tools for nonprofit organizations. She aims to share best practices throughout the progressive nonprofit field without the high costs and time demands of traditional strategic planning. She now provides training, coaching, and group sessions to help organizational leaders understand the core elements of strategy and their interconnections.
